Nuclear Industry - Cumbria Matters

Its been a busy week this week and I have lots of things to cover from conversations and news to Whitehaven Cuts. Firstly this week I have mostly been like Inspector Gadget but without the go go gadget arms – ok half of you may not get that joke but as long as it makes someone smile then I am happy.  
I have discovered that NuGen had a meeting in the Samuel Lindow on Wednesday with Key stakeholders, including a policeman, and I happen to know they are considering recruiting a specialist consultant based in Cumbria so I think maybe the reports from last week were wrong and new build is still going ahead – she says with her fingers and toes crossed.

It was bad news for Johnson Controls who were fined over an employee who had his leg ran over by a cherry picker on site. All…
